Hollywood Poker Insures the WSOPE Bubble

Hollywood Poker is offering its players Bubble Insurance for the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event. Anyone who plays on the site and who finishes in the first five positions out of the money in the WSOPE Main Event will win a seat in the 2009 event from Hollywood Poker.

Online poker players are not required to have won their seat at Hollywood Poker or to have purchased a ticket to the event through them to be eligible. All it takes is earning 1,000 player points at the site from now until Aug. 31 upon registering for the event.

"We're poker players too, and we know just how it feels to be out there on a limb where up means the money and down means absolutely nothing," said Vince Van Patten, Hollywood Poker spokesperson. "We can't decide for you but we hope you get covered."

Hollywood Poker will also be awarding players with prize packages to the 2008 WSOPE Main Event. On Sunday, the online poker site launched its $24,000 WSOPE Main Event Package Online Finals, during which it gives out a $24,000 prize package.

The online finals will take place every other Sunday until Sept. 7, and they cost just $300+$20 to enter. If that's still a little too rich for your blood, there are qualifiers at Hollywood Poker as well that start at just $1 to win your way into the online finals.

The prize packages for the 2008 WSOPE Main Event include the ￡10,000 buy-in plus money for travel and accommodations and Hollywood Poker clothing and merchandise.
