Net Entertainment Signs Up Another Tier 1 Casino
Friday August 08, 2008
Industry observers are trying to work out who Net Entertainment's latest client is, following the company's announcement this week that it has signed a tier one, leading sports betting and online gaming company serving over 1 million players in over 160 countries.
The mystery client has signed for Net Entertainment's popular CasinoModule online gambling system, taking the total number of licensees using it to around 25.
A spokesman for the licensee said: "Given the size of our business it is crucial for us to work with stable software providers with a flexible business operation. Our casino is a core part of our offering hence it is very satisfying to have sealed a strategic partnership with Net Entertainment. The CasinoModule will not only provide us with market leading games but also with a state of the art back-end management system. This will give us the competitive edge we need to take our business to a new level."
Johan Ohman, CEO at Net Entertainment declined to identify the new customer, respecting its management's wish for confidentiality at this stage. He revealed that the deal calls for a launch before the end of the fourth quarter 2008, at which time more detailed information on the customer will be made available.
"July/August 2008 have been successful months for Net Entertainment," Ohman claims. "Not only have we managed to sign this agreement but also with two other high profile operators".
