New York Jets at Oakland Raiders Point Spread and Pick

The easiest betting pick of the weekend will be the Oakland Raiders to cover the point spread and then some.

3-point underdogs on the betting line according to the point spread at SBG Global Sportsbook, the Raiders are every bit as good, if not better, as their opponent in this one.

The Jets come in with a 3-2 record on the year and against the point spread while the Raiders have had some poor breaks and sit at 1-4 with only 2 point spread covers this season.

Throw all the previous win and losses out because the Raiders are the betting pick in this one and there are many reasons why.

First off, the Jets would look like they are incredible against the run but when you look at who they have played it is not nearly as nice.

The one team they played this season with a decent rushing game was heavily injured including playing the game with a dinged up Ladanian Tomlinson.

With the Raiders averaging a very nice 141 rushing yards per game on 4.6 yards per carry, look for the home team Raiders to control the pace with the ground game as they easily slice through the Jets' defensive front seven.

New York's offense has not been impressive at all and is scoring many more points than they have deserved, mainly due to facing defenses that are either incapable or just plain injured.

The yardage totals for the Jets don't come close to matching up with their scoring output and Oakland's defense is very capable of stopping average NFL offenses.
