Cake Poker Players Get Card Player OPOY Points

The prestigious Card Player magazine has recognised the Cake Poker for purposes of its Card Player Online Player of the Year leaderboard, meaning that the top 20 finishers in this Sunday's Cake's $100,000 guaranteed tournament will earn points towards their ranking on the board for 2009. Cake Poker becomes the sixth online poker site to be accepted by Card Player.

Cake Poker was established in 2006, now claims to be the fourth-largest poker network that accepts American players. The website currently features a $25,000-guaranteed daily tournament, a $100,000-guaranteed weekly tournament on Sunday, and a $250,000-guaranteed monthly tournament on the last Sunday of every month.
