Winners Announced in Gambling Gazette's 2009 USA Online Casino Awards

Gambling Gazette has announced the winners of its 2009 USA Player's Online Casino Awards. Cool Cat Casino took the big prize, that of "Best Overall Casino".

The USA Player's Online Casino Awards was developed by Gambling Gazette this year so the gambling portal could highlight casinos that excel in several areas.

"We wanted the gamers to vote because they know which casinos are best," said Frank Pineiro, business manager. "It's been interesting and sometimes surprising to see which casinos were rated the highest."

Gamers were allowed to vote in five categories: Best casino software, best customer support, best games and tournaments, best bonuses, and best overall casino. Only casinos that were official nominees could be voted for, Pineiro said.

Casinos were nominated based on their quality of customer service, interface, player satisfaction, and selection of games. All the nominated casinos had to accept players from all states in the United States.

"We think the list of winners represents the best of the best of what the online casino world has to offer," Pineiro said. "Perhaps the best thing that could come out of the awards is that gamers will get a good sense of which casinos other gamers prefer."
