Bet365 Casino is an offshoot of the UK-based Bet365 Sportsbook. The operation is heavily UK-focused, and as such may not be a well-known gaming brand to those based outside of the United Kingdom. The casino operates using Playtech software. Bet365 Casino has selected GemStone Systems high-performance data management solutions, as part of a critical IT infrastructure expansion to support the company's growth.

GemStone claims Bet365 Casino will now realise benefits that include exponentially faster processing of the thousands of transactions conducted via its online portal, with the assurance that these transactions will be processed reliably and without failure even in the case of a disaster or unforeseen events.

The company required an expansion of its technology infrastructure to support the increase in Bet365's activity. After evaluating several competing solutions, Martin Davies, chief technology officer for Bet365 Group Limited, decided that the GemFire platform offered the ability to process transactions quickly.
