Microgaming is top online casino software and games provider online will be adding some new upgrades and changes to its popular poker network that will include moving to a single currency and adding new a new tournament style.

Microgaming's Poker Network brings together players from across the world and offers a wide variety of card rooms. You can play for free or for real-money in Texas Hold'em, Omaha Poker, 7-card and 5-card Stud and 1-on-1 games from as little as $0.02 in fixed, pot and no-limit formats.

The online poker network will now only be accepting transactions in Euros. Gaming experts have speculated this is an effort to further distance themselves from the U.S. market while online gambling regulations are being sorted out.

Microgaming will also be adding Survivor style tournaments to their network. Survivor style tournaments are a race against the clock to avoid being the lowest chip holder at the end of each round. You advance up the rankings by being the higher chip holder and, once you reach the top level all players are paid out equally. The new interface will let players know how much time is left, how many chips they have, the number of players and their status in the game.

Microgaming offers a great variety of tournaments to choose from including guaranteed daily tournaments and daily freerolls as well as rounder tournaments and more. They've got an impressive list of online casinos hosting their poker games including Unibet Poker, Ladbrokes Poker, 32 Red Poker, Golden Tiger Poker, Intertops Poker and over 35 more to choose from.
