Bodog Poker is again offering players the opportunity of becoming jet-setting world travelers by announcing Amsterdam as the newest destination for its Bodog Flight Club promotion.

As the poker site of the Master Classics of Poker and its $8,800 buy-in Lido International Dutch Open at the Holland Casino, Amsterdam beckons to poker players of all stripes as one of the world's most beautiful, historic and friendly cities.

As part of the promotion, Bodog Poker is running qualifiers for the 2009 Lido International Dutch Open for as little as one dollar. In addition, those wanting to start a little closer to their goal can take part in differing tournament types for various stakes all the way up to the $270 buy-in Bodog Flight Club Semi-Final. One player in every 48 Semi-Final entries will win a $12,000 prize package to the Lido International Dutch Open, which is scheduled to take place from November 10 to 13.

The Lido International Dutch Open has become one of the staple events on the European poker circuit and draws some of the sport's biggest names. Last year, Freddy Deeb, Surinder Sunar, Sorel 'imper1um' Mizzi, Rolf Slotboom and Danny Ryan took part but it was Danish poker player Jan Sorensen that beat out the field of 335 entrants to take home the $895,344 first-place prize.

Bodog Poker stated that its prize packages to the Lido International Dutch Open includes the $8,800 buy-in alongside $3,200 for travel and accommodation expenses. As a member of Team Bodog, winners will also receive a swag bag as well as have articles written about their progress.
