Cake Poker Premieres Synchronised Breaks
Friday November 20, 2009
Cake Poker has announced the introduction of synchronised breaks scheduled for 55 minutes past the hour on nearly every one of its multi-table tournaments.
With the move, Cake Poker has joined other leading online poker sites including Poker Stars, Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet in upgrading its software to allow for synchronised breaks.
Unlike some of the competitors, Cake Poker is allowing for the 5 minute breaks to coincide with tournaments in late registration, games within the first level and turbo events within the first two levels of play. Its only exclusion for synchronised breaks will be on sit-and-go tournaments with fewer than 30 players.
