Former affiliates for leading gaming operator Grand Prive Group are set to have all of their questions answered after the operator commissioned independent player protection and standards organisation eCommerce And Online Gaming Regulation And Assurance (eCOGRA) to conduct an investigation.

Grand Prive Group is the firm behind sites including Casino Grand Bay, Jupiter Club Casino, Bella Vegas Casino, Lake Palace Casino and Road House Reels Casino and shut its Grand Prive Affiliates in December of last year for 'commercial reasons'. It stated that a communication exercise aimed at affected affiliates was subsequently carried out followed by payments of all amounts owed.

However, Grand Prive Group revealed that it has been following the 'often inaccurate information exchanges on the internet regarding the closure' of its affiliate program with interest 'mindful of its reputation as a responsible and respectable business'.

Grand Prive Group stated that eCOGRA would carry out an independent, professional and fully qualified audit surrounding the closure both within and without the company and also 'facilitate the submission of claims by any affiliate that considers an amount to be owing by the Grand Prive Affiliates as a result of player wagering activity subsequent to December 1, 2008'.

In addition, eCOGRA will perform a 'full and professional review' of its affiliate program's software and date to 'confirm amounts owing to claimants at December 21, 2009' and issue a public report.

"Grand Prive Group will co-operate whole-heartedly with this process and has asked eCOGRA to involve all leading affiliate watchdog organisations in informing affiliates of their opportunity to submit legitimate claims," read a statement from the online casino operator.

"We have agreed on eCOGRA's insistence that we will be bound by its findings and recommendations arising from the investigation, remaining at arm's length from the enquiry unless asked for pertinent information.

"Grand Prive Group wishes to emphasise that its primary concern is to address any genuine wrongs in a fair and forthright manner and it will lend every effort in order to do this."
