Crazy Poker Throws Support Behind Ghana

An international flight bound for South Africa's O.R. Tambo airport became a chance opportunity for Crazy Poker to encounter Ghana's elite soccer team, the Black Stars, who in turn showed their support for the online poker company. Ghana's soccer heroes were bound for Johannesburg, South Africa in order to represent their country in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, facing off against fellow D Group teams Germany, Australia and Serbia in the opening games.

Photographs posted up on Crazy Poker reveal the mutual support and enthusiasm between the African country's top soccer athletes and the entrepreneurial online poker company, with smiles of excitement inspired all round. Brand manager Trevor Penn reaffirmed the positive sentiments shared between the Black Stars and Crazy Poker in a recent statement, saying that "We at Crazy poker support the Black Stars all the way! They are a brilliant soccer team, and clearly have a good taste for quality online poker! Good luck, Ghana - we wish you all the best for 2010!"

And it seems that Crazy Poker's well wishes have certainly paid off, seeing as how Ghana has now qualified to go through to the Quarter Finals. They will be playing against Uruguay in Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium on Friday 2 July 2010.
