Carbon Poker Signs Shannon Elizabeth
Sunday July 04, 2010
Carbon Poker has announced that it has signed a deal with Shannon Elizabeth that will see the American Pie and Scary Movie actress represent the online poker room at upcoming major tournaments.
The poker stated that its agreement will also see the 36-year-old former model play regularly online and be involved in upcoming marketing campaigns.
"We've been on the hunt for a face for our brand who is a recognised star and also a respected member of the poker community," said Peter Hampton, spokesperson for Carbon Poker.
"Shannon easily meets both criteria and offers a creative edge that we're thrilled to have on board.
"We're launching several promotions that will involve players playing against Shannon and getting to know her both inside and outside of poker.
The Houston native will also post regularly on Carbon Poker's blog and is set to answer player questions while taking a creative lead on a series of videos for the poker.
