Paddy Power Pays Out on Call of Duty as Top Christmas Game

Despite only being released today, Paddy Power Sportsbook has already paid out on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as the best-selling video game this Christmas.

The much anticipated first-person shooter was installed as Paddy Power's clear 1/5 favourite to be this year's best seller and has recently shortened into practically unbackable odds of 1/16.

Ken Robertson from Paddy Power said “At odds of 1/16 this contest is well and truly over. On its day of release we are happy to crown Call of Duty: MW3 this year's undisputed champion!”

Paddy Power are now offering betting on this year's Christmas number one best-selling video game not including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. FIFA 12 is the odds-on 10/11 favourite ahead of Gears of War 3 at 2/1 and Pro Evolution Soccer at 9/1.

The bookie is also offering odds of 5/6 that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will become the best-selling video game of all time.
