GameAccount Confirms First Operators on Spanish Network
Tuesday November 22, 2011
Online casino and skill games developer GameAccount Network has confirmed that enRacha and Miapuesta, the two respective Spanish-facing brands of Rank Group and Sportingbet, will be the first operators to launch on the company's Spanish Network, pending licence approval from the Spanish National Gaming Commission.
GameAccount said that both enRacha and Miapuesta will move to .es domains from January 1st 2012, once the licensing process has been completed, and will utilise the company's Internet Gaming System to serve the regulated online gaming market in Spain.
GameAccount has been working in partnership with Rank since 2010 in preparation for the regulated Spanish market where Rank's Spanish business, Top Rank Espana, operates a number of land-based bingo halls.
Rank's gaming portal enRacha.com was launched on the GameAccount Network Internet Gaming System during the first quarter of this year, offering Spanish card games as well as other card and dice games.
Additionally, a suite of casino table games were also made available together with person-to-person poker tournaments and cash game variant, while bingo was added together with third party slots provided by Aristocrat Technologies and IGT, in preparation for the potential regulation of casino slot games which the company expects to occur in 2012 or later.
GameAccount said that enRacha.com is expected to move across to enRacha.es, once licence approval has been received by the Spanish authorities.
Meanwhile, GameAccount's long-standing partnership with Sportingbet will continue with the company's Miapuesta brand also moving across to a .es domain, pending licence approval.
The offering will initially include GameAccount's certified gaming content for the Spanish regulated market such as social games, blackjack and roulette.
GameAccount added that for player liquidity purposes, the end user customers of both clients will be merged into the Spanish Network within the GameAccount Network Internet Gaming System.
